Day 1
After visiting our school and having ice breaking activities, and celebrating Nika’s birthday, we headed to Rēzekne where we had a workshop with the professional photographer. During the workshop we could test in practice the tricks for taking the best photos (and a LOT of photos were taken). We also made slow motion movies. After that we set off to explore the best acoustic concert hall in Latvia and visited historical sites of Rēzekne.

Day 2
This was day when we actively explored and got to know better our area- we had a workshop in Rāzna National Park Nature centre; we visited Lūznava Manor, where we not only got to know about a bridge engineer S.Kerbedz, but also played in teams a digital orientation game in local area. In art gallery Nester Custom we saw sustainability and the ways how old car/ motorbike parts can be assembled in art objects. Finally we visited The Aglona Roman Catholic Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary which is one of the eight international shrines recognized by the See of Rome.

On Wednesday we headed to capital city Riga, which mesmarized us with its Art Nouveau architecture, that makes up roughly one third of all the buildings in the centre of Riga, making Latvia's capital the city with the highest concentration of Art Nouveau architecture anywhere in the world. We also visited Motor museum featuring antique and modern vehicles, multimedia solutions and hands-on exhibits.

Day 4
This day was devoted to the second largest city in Latvia- Daugavpils. Within just some hours we could feel the breath of past in Daugavpils Fortress and then the peek into future by vising the Centre of Innovations, where we not only tested various technological innovations but also had a workshop during which we created our space probe.

Day 5
This day we spent in Gaigalava. We took part in various workshops lead by host students- constructing with Lego robotics, programming with BeeBot and Scottie Go!, drawing 3D, ceramics. After that we had a chance to get to know also Latvian culture- music and dances. We visited ancient music instruments museum and learnt some folk dances- games. And then…. Yes, and there was a time to say goodbyes and cry some heartfelt tears…. But we know, this is not the end! It is just beginning! Because- we SEE- share, explore, enrich!
